Boarding

The key to Cole Ranch’s success in boarding is consistent daily observation of each horse. All horses get sick and sustain injuries. Identifying and treating problems early is therefore vital.

If a problem is identified, the appropriate action is promptly taken. For example, the horse may be moved to a stall or a private pen for a period of time, hoof care may be needed, or veterinary intervention may be necessary.

A comprehensive program of vaccinations, de-worming, and hoof care is extremely important. Some horses hooves grow faster than others. These horses will require more frequent hoof care than others. Each horse is an individual and is treated accordingly.
