Horse Boarding in California’s Central Valley
At The Cole Ranch, our horse boarding services prioritize the health and well-being of every horse through diligent and consistent daily observation.
Recognizing the inherent risk of illness and injury in equine populations, our proactive approach emphasizes the early detection and timely management of any health concerns.
Upon identification of a potential issue, immediate and appropriate action is initiated. This may include temporary relocation to a stall or private paddock, the provision of specialized hoof-care, or, when necessary, prompt consultation with a licensed veterinarian.
Furthermore, we maintain a comprehensive preventative care program encompassing scheduled vaccinations, strategic deworming protocols, and regular hoof maintenance.
Acknowledging the individual variability in hoof growth rates, we tailor our horse boarding care schedules to meet the specific needs of each horse.
Our philosophy centers on recognizing the unique needs of every animal in our horse boarding care and responding accordingly to ensure their optimal health and well-being.

Vibration Therapy
Build Muscle, Increase Bone Density, Recover Faster
How It Works
Vitafloor ® is a five inch thick floor that vibrates at different intensities depending on the intended use. To avoid the horse continually resting one leg, the floor can be set to gently tilt at one minute intervals, causing the horse to slightly re-adjust its balance, ensuring the use all four legs. In addition this helps with muscle activation for an increased effect.
Vibration Training has been shown to inprove blood circulation, especially in the legs and organs, which helps to prevent injury, accelerate the healing process and help to prevent colic.
Enhances Blood Circulation & Healing
The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala has carried out extensive research and testing on the Vitafloor starting in 2003, including studies to analyze what happens with a clinically healthy horse during vibration treatment on the Vitafloor. No negative effects have ever been noted from treatment and horses really seem to enjoy their sessions too!
