A Constant Focus on Nutrition
No horse, no matter how well bred, can reach its genetic potential without a nurturing environment combined with excellent nutrition.
A horse requires lots of clean water, fresh alfalfa, generous quantities of scientifically fortified grains, and cultivated Bermuda grass on which to graze.

We are very pleased to announce that Cole Ranch has improved its grain feeding program. Until now we have fed a very high quality mix of loose or textured grains, vitamins and minerals custom designed for Cole Ranch and delivered fresh from the grain mill.
The latest equine nutrition research indicated that a diet lower in sugar and starch is even healthier. Therefore, in consultation with our nutritionist, Dr. Amy Gill, our grain company, O.H. Kruse and our farm veterinarian, we have reformulated our grain.
This new feed is lower in sugar and starch, corn free, and somewhat higher in fat and other key supplements such as kelp, a natural sources of iodine, magnesium and an organic form of selenium. Rather than textured grain, this new feed comes in pellets which helps insures that the all the feed is ingested by the horse.
